Faris is awesome

Hey, I’m Faris. I work in cybersecurity, where I spend most of my time digging into incidents, threat hunting, and figuring out how things actually break in the real world—not just in theory.

My background is in computer engineering, but what really shapes how I work is understanding people just as much as systems. A lot of security problems aren’t purely technical, and that human layer is what makes the work interesting to me.

Outside of the day job, I’m always experimenting—whether that’s building out self-hosted systems, exploring automation and AI agents, or going down random rabbit holes that turn into projects. I like figuring things out, improving how I work, and occasionally making life more complicated than it needs to be.

This space is just a reflection of that—things I’m building, learning, and thinking about as I go.
